Nougat Centers

| Nougat by definition can be made with honey or sugar, usually contains nuts and sometimes candied fruit. It can also be soft and chewy, white nougat, or hard, brown nougat. For my tastes and my chocolates, I prefer the softer kind, made solely with honey.
I have found that the addition of melted chocolate to nougat gives it a unique taste, reminiscent of those candy bars we all loved as kids (and maybe still do). |
