As we all wait for the sun and the summer bounty to reassure us why we live in Oregon, local strawberries and rhubarb have provided a nice sneak preview of the crop to come. With their arrival comes a new chocolate and a popular revival.

Making their way to Steve's Cheese, Foster & Dobbs, and Alberta St. Tea House are the Strawberry & Aged Balsamic, and Rhubarb chocolates. They will only be around for the summer so get them while you can.

I was fortunate enough to spend two weeks in Spain this Spring, and had the most amazing food experiences of my life. I look forward to sharing my interpretations in chocolate with all.
